Margaret Cahill has had several careers. She taught high school writing and literature. She designed and implemented an education program of core academics and life skills for group home residents ages 12-18.

After earning a Masters in Social Work at Fordham University, Cahill worked as a therapist in southern CT and then served as an Executive Director of a family service agency.

Cahill combined her education and social service backgrounds and taught children on a hospital psychiatric unit.

Cahill held a management position with a publicly traded corporation.

As a novelist, Cahill’s style is to do in depth research to create a realistic story.

Cahill's first novel Five Star Fraud was published in 2010.

Margaret lives in the Berkshires in western MA with her husband, Edward.
